Biography
About Taylor
Taylor Miller has been writing and playing songs for his friends and family for years, and is just now releasing his music to the public. He started piano lessons at age eight, but the notes on the page were like gibberish to his young mind, so he quit shortly thereafter. The spark of music reignited for Taylor years later as he watched his Dad playing the piano. Where the notes and staves on the sheet music felt like chaos, the flowing patterns of hands on keys somehow clicked. Taylor emulated the patterns and progressions and soon started writing songs of his own. By age fourteen Taylor had written his first song with lyrics and has never stopped writing since then. With his penchant for songwriting Taylor picked up the Guitar and discovered his love for the instrument. Experimenting with slack tunings and the natural drum sounds of an acoustic guitar Taylor blends his modern songwriting style with the niche technique of fingerstyle percussive guitar. Taylor loved to play his music for anyone who would listen growing up, from family gatherings in cramped living rooms around a piano to acoustic guitar in the wide outdoors around a campfire. His music creatively utilizes the full potential of the guitar for a refreshing take on acoustic music.
